When I first joined a company, I proudly presented my brilliant idea. My colleague smiled and said: “That’s certainly an… interesting approach.” Me: 🥹 They love my creativity. Months later, my boss said: “They called our proposal ‘interesting’? That’s basically an insult.” Ah. Turns out, “interesting” can mean “please never do this again.” 🙃 I’ve since developed a pretty solid sarcasm radar.
