Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FeelNeverBetter website, applications and related services (together, the “Platform”).

The Platform is operated by Petty Petty Things Ltd, trading as FeelNeverBetter (“FeelNeverBetter”, “FNB”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Address: 207 Regent Street, London, W1B 3HH, UK
Support contact: Write to the address above. Content reports can be submitted through the in-app flag control.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. What FeelNeverBetter is

FeelNeverBetter is a community for everyday frustrations and personal feelings, with supportive conversations and gentle fictional humour. It does not promise a particular emotional or health outcome.

The current beta includes:

Image uploads are currently unavailable. There is no private direct-messaging feature. Links to independent support services are provided for convenience.

The “Hire a venting machine!?” card advertises a planned feature, not a subscription you can currently buy. Its displayed price and perks, including longer vents, are proposals. There is no current checkout or recurring charge. Any paid service will need its own clear purchase, cancellation and consumer information before becoming available.

FeelNeverBetter is not a medical service, healthcare provider, counselling service, emergency service or crisis intervention service.

2. Not medical advice

Content available through FeelNeverBetter is provided for general informational, community and wellbeing purposes only.

Nothing on the Platform should be treated as medical advice, psychiatric advice, psychological treatment, diagnosis or a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

We do not guarantee that content posted by users is accurate, complete or appropriate for your circumstances.

You should seek appropriate professional assistance if you have concerns about your physical or mental health.

Emergency situations

FeelNeverBetter is not monitored as an emergency service.

If you or another person is in immediate danger or there is a risk of serious harm, contact the appropriate emergency service or crisis-support service in your country.

In the UK, this may include calling 999 in an emergency or contacting an appropriate NHS or crisis service.

We may display links or information relating to crisis-support organisations where we believe it may be helpful.

3. Who may use FeelNeverBetter

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the community features of FeelNeverBetter.

This is the intended age restriction. Email-code sign-in is not proof of age; we do not currently collect a date of birth or operate an age-assurance check.

We may introduce services for younger users in the future under separate age-appropriate terms and safeguards.

4. Your account

You are responsible for:

You must not:

Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email address. A generated public name and avatar do not make you anonymous to FNB: we hold a private link between your account and profile. Other members do not see your account email through your public profile. Protect your email account and do not share sign-in codes.

We may require reasonable verification or security checks to protect the Platform and its users.

5. The Vent Wall and user content

The Platform allows you to submit text vents, poll questions and choices, Echoes and reactions (“User Content”).

You remain responsible for User Content that you submit.

Published content is visible to people who can access the site, including visitors who are not signed in to FNB. During the protected beta, Vercel sign-in is also required. If the service becomes public, published content and its share links may be accessible to anyone. FNB does not currently offer a private audience selector for a published vent.

Do not include real names or identifying details about yourself or others. Choosing “Bin it,” “Bomb it,” “Launch it” or “Poof!” changes the posting animation; all four submit your vent. An animation is not a deletion or privacy control.

Do not assume that a post is confidential merely because you use a nickname, pseudonym or anonymous-looking profile.

Echoes and the support you want

The author can choose Just listen, Tell me I’m not alone, Share your experience, Advice welcome, Make me laugh or I don’t know. Respect that choice. “Just listen” accepts the fixed support messages “I hear you,” “Sit with you” and “Send support” instead of a normal free-text Echo. These preferences do not override the House Rules or guarantee that every response will be helpful.

AI categories and hashtags

OpenAI processes vent text to suggest a category and two or three hashtags, reusing matching existing tags where possible. An unclear or unavailable category result becomes Others; hashtags may be absent when generation or checks fail. These suggestions can be wrong and are not diagnoses. Moderation also checks submitted text, including poll questions, poll choices and Echoes, before publication.

Fictional starter conversations

Profiles with a bot icon labelled “Fictional starter profile” are FNB-created fictional characters, not real members. Their vents and Echoes may be generated with AI and checked before publication. They exist to start conversations and offer light humour; they are not evidence of a real person’s experience or professional advice. Members may save, react to and Echo these vents. Fictional profiles do not sign in or react to members, and their scheduled replies target their own fictional conversations. Fictional vents are excluded from member Trending rankings and topic totals; a short feed may display a recent vent as a fallback when no member vent qualifies.

Sharing and discovery

Signed-in members and visitors may share a published vent’s link using the Share control. Once a link or screenshot is shared, another service may store or copy it under its own terms. Removing content from FNB does not recall external copies. Protected-beta links still require Vercel access. Feed ordering may use recency, engagement and author diversity; placement and exposure are not guaranteed.

6. Licence to use your content

You retain ownership of intellectual property rights you hold in your User Content.

When you submit User Content to FeelNeverBetter, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, process and distribute that content to the extent reasonably necessary to:

This licence ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where we reasonably need to retain a copy for legal, security, complaint, fraud-prevention, backup or regulatory purposes.

We do not acquire ownership of your User Content merely because you post it on FeelNeverBetter.

7. Community standards

FeelNeverBetter is intended to allow genuine expression, including discussion of difficult experiences. We recognise that users may discuss sadness, stress, loneliness, anxiety, relationships, grief and other sensitive subjects.

However, freedom to express difficult feelings does not mean that all content is permitted.

You must not use FeelNeverBetter to post, promote, facilitate or distribute content that:

Illegal activity

Harm to others

You must not:

Discussion of recovery, personal experiences or seeking support concerning self-harm or suicide is not automatically prohibited. Context matters, and we may distinguish supportive discussion from content that encourages, glorifies or instructs harmful behaviour.

Hate and abuse

You must not post content that unlawfully threatens or targets people based on protected characteristics or that otherwise breaches applicable law.

Sexual and exploitative material

You must not post:

Privacy

Do not publish identifying, private or confidential information about yourself or another person, even if you believe they would agree. Use a non-identifying description as explained in the House Rules.

Manipulation and platform abuse

You must not:

8. Moderation

We may use a combination of:

to identify content or behaviour that may violate these Terms or create safety risks.

Automated systems may help prioritise content for review, detect patterns or identify potentially harmful material.

The current service sends text to OpenAI for automated checks. Content may remain private while awaiting review or be blocked. Editing a vent triggers new checks. Obvious contact details are held, but automated checks cannot reliably detect every real name or understand every context. A report queues an email alert to the reviewers; it does not guarantee an immediate response. The intended review pattern is daily morning and evening checks in UK time, subject to reviewer availability, with no guaranteed response deadline.

Moderation systems are not perfect. Content may sometimes be incorrectly identified, overlooked or interpreted differently depending on its context.

Where appropriate, we may:

We will seek to apply these Terms consistently, taking account of context and applicable law.

9. Illegal content and safety

We maintain systems and processes intended to reduce the risk of users encountering illegal content and to respond appropriately when we become aware of it.

Our approach may include moderation, reporting mechanisms, account restrictions, technical controls and other proportionate safety measures.

Certain categories of illegal content may receive heightened attention, including terrorism-related content, child sexual exploitation and abuse material and other priority illegal content identified by UK law.

Nothing in these Terms prevents us from taking urgent action where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, comply with law or address a serious safety threat.

10. Reporting content

If you believe content on FeelNeverBetter:

you can sign in and use the flag control on the relevant published vent or Echo. Reports and block lists are private. A visitor is prompted to sign in before submitting a report. You may also write to the company address above with the relevant vent link.

Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant content.

We may contact you for additional information where reasonably necessary.

11. Complaints and appeals

If you disagree with a moderation decision affecting your content or account, you may write to Petty Petty Things Ltd at the address above, identifying the relevant vent or account decision. There is currently no in-app appeal button and no agreed appeal response deadline.

We may review decisions involving:

We will assess complaints in accordance with our applicable procedures and legal obligations.

Nothing in these Terms removes any legal rights you may have.

Where we remove or restrict User Content, suspend an account or ban a user in breach of these Terms, UK law may in certain circumstances give the affected user a right to bring a claim for breach of contract.

12. Serious safety concerns

Users should not rely on FeelNeverBetter to identify or respond to emergencies.

However, if we become aware of information indicating an immediate and serious threat to life or safety, we may take reasonable action permitted by law.

This may include:

We do not guarantee that we will identify every emergency or harmful post.

13. Intellectual property

Except for User Content, the Platform and its contents, including its software, branding, graphics, interface, designs, databases and original content, are owned by or licensed to FeelNeverBetter.

You may use the Platform only for your personal use in accordance with these Terms.

You must not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, distribute or commercially exploit our intellectual property except where permitted by law or with our written permission.

14. Third-party links and services

FeelNeverBetter may contain links to third-party websites, resources or services.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

A link from FeelNeverBetter does not necessarily mean that we endorse the organisation or service concerned.

15. Availability and changes

We may change, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of FeelNeverBetter from time to time.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or that the Platform will operate without interruption or errors.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes that significantly affect users.

16. Closing your account

You may close your FeelNeverBetter account from Preferences / Account settings, using Delete my account and typing DELETE to confirm.

Deleting your account does not delete your vents or Echoes. It removes your email/sign-in record from the active account database and disconnects the account-to-profile link. The pseudonymous profile, its name and avatar, and its content remain, with published content still visible. Your reactions, poll votes, saved conversations, blocks and personal notifications are removed; report evidence and some safety records may remain.

Delete individual vents or Echoes before closing your account if you want their normal visible content removed. Deleting a vent also removes its associated conversation and poll. Deleting an Echo clears its text but preserves the conversation structure and later responses. After account deletion, you cannot manage retained content through that deleted account; you can send a privacy request to privacy@pettypettythings.com or the company address. Retained text may still identify someone from its context, so disconnecting an account is not a guarantee of complete anonymisation. Backups, vendor logs, legal and safety records may retain information separately.

More information is provided in our Privacy Notice.

17. Suspending or terminating access

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to FeelNeverBetter where reasonably necessary, including where:

Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide information about the decision and available complaint or appeal mechanisms.

18. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or liability for fraud.

Subject to applicable consumer law, FeelNeverBetter is provided on an “as available” basis.

We cannot guarantee:

You remain responsible for decisions you make based on information you encounter on the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Privacy

Our use of personal information is described in the FeelNeverBetter Privacy Notice.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Notice and cookie preference controls.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms where necessary, for example because of:

We will update the “Last updated” date when these Terms change.

Where a change materially affects your rights or how you use the Platform, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also benefit from mandatory rights and protections available under the law applicable where you live.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising mandatory consumer rights available to you.
